What Trends You're Missing?
1. Good squish
Good Squish is a family-run business whose foundation sells oversized scrunchies (squishes). Made from deadstock fabric, and created in Hackney, London, the business is local and trusted. The squishes add a bit of fun to an outfit, whether that's casual or for a night out. With so many colours, sizes and patterns to choose from, there is something for everyone.
2. Jimmy Fairly
Since COVID glasses have been on the rise, and have only been getting bigger (literally). Since my degree requires a lot of time on the computer, it's been helpful to have the blue tint to protect my eyes but also a great accessory to dress up an outfit.
3. Uggs
Uggs have been around for a while but have made a big come back and I am so here for it! They are so comfortable and bring an element of casual to an outfit while still looking stylish. There are so many styles to choose from so there is a shoe for everyone.
4. Cherry Red
The colour of the season is red, more specifically cherry red! Whether it's an accessory or an item of clothing, it adds an element of sophistication to any outfit. I have mentioned before if you don't own anything red, don't go out and buy a load of red items- just paint your nails or get a new lipstick (any red is better than none)!
5. Gel-back
For any incontinence, whether you need a hair wash or you are having a bad hair day- slap some ECO gel in a slick back bun (maybe add a Good Squish) and you have elevated your outfit.
6. Fur
This 'mob wife' trend has caused a large increase in fur jackets. I don't agree with buying new fur so I was a bit nervous about the trend coming back, however, there is always a cheaper option for a second-hand fur or faux fur jacket which will still give you that chic style.
7. Leopard print
Another trend that's come out of the 'mob wife' trend is prints, more specifically leopard print. I also worry about this trend as animal print can very quickly look tacky, however, if done correctly can elevate an outfit.
