Material Girl

As you can probably tell I am preparing for university which has meant that there has been a lot of packing involved over the past couple weeks and since then I have realised that there are certain items that I just need in my life. In this week's post I wanted to share with you 5 items that I cannot live without and have made my life so much easier since adding this to my daily routine.

1. Computer and television subscriptions

My computer has everything on it- my work and relaxation so this has to be my number one item. I recently got the new MacBook Air M2 and couldn't be happier, it's connected to my iPhone so everything's stored safely and makes getting work done a lot quicker. It's definitely worth the investment and would recommend to any and every student to get a laptop for school/ university.

2. Sony headphones and speaker

I recently purchased some new headphones for training but since buying them have been living in them, I can't go anywhere without playing music or listening to a podcast.

So when I don't have my headphones in I am blasting my music through my UE BOOM speaker. I have had my UE BOOM for serval years now and take it everywhere with me. To the park with friends, on holiday, travelling, and next up... university. It's perfect for pre drinks in dorms or even just to take into the shower.

3. Cowboy boots

I have been on to this trend for a while and three cowboy boots later I am not over the obsession. Cowboy boots elevate any outfit and are perfect for any occasion, therefore I will be bringing one of my many pairs with me to university.

4. Milk Whisk

I start every morning with my Nespresso milk frother machine and can't imagine living without it. I start off by whisking up my greens with water before breakfast and then after breakfast will make a matcha latte or a cappuccino. You can find different types of milk frothers or whisks that are as good but my Nespresso machine was the perfect investment to save money on getting coffees out by making barista style coffee.

5. Kindle

I have spoken about my kindle so many times on this blog and I will continue to. My kindle has saved me so much space in my luggage, money and have made it easier to read especially as I struggle with dyslexia. And I am sure that the kindle will come in handy for reading week or any book assignments.

Let me know if any of these are on your 'material girl' lists in the comments below.

Love, Aria
