Quick Stop in Sydney
After my trip to Asia it was only right to take a trip even further down under. I started my travels with Sydney and spent a week in the city exploring before moving over to Melbourne for a further week. Although a week was short it gave me just enough time to get my baring of the area and I became very confident on the city and grew to love it.
Sydney has to be one of my favourite cities in Australia because of the small community and it’s beaches which makes it a bit of a more chill environment than most cities.
- Sydney Taronga Zoo
A ferry ride away from Sydney’s port there is a section dedicated just to a zoo. There were so many animals to visit and you are able to get really close to them too which makes the experience even more exciting.
- Coogee to Bondi
This is a well known walk, especially for the locals. It’s a walk that’s starts down at Coogee beach and takes you across several coves and beaches to take you to the famous Bondi beach. There are many stops to take a long the way and highly recommend making a day out of it. Bring your bikini and a book as well as lots of sunscreen.
- Bondi beach (+Westfield)
When you get to Bondi beach I would recommend staying in the area and getting a bus to Bondi Junction. At the junction you can get connection trains and buses back to the city but they also have a large Westfield with multiple Australian brands to shop, as well as, many restaurants and food stalls.
- Ivy
Every Sunday the Ivy puts on a pool party every Sunday, where you are able to relax by the pool and order as many drinks with lots of other travellers.
As well as this, on Thursday The Ivy also has a club night every Thursday where over 4000 people turn up for every week for the biggest party in Sydney.
- Glebe market
Every Saturday there’s a market put on in Glebe Village. They sell everything from crystals, clothes and jewellery. As well as food, snacks and coffee, which means you could easily spend a whole morning exploring and trying new things.
- Sushi Hub
A very simple pleasure but I would highly recommend having a quick lunch at one of the many Sushi Hub shops around the city. Especially as a traveller, the sushi is so well priced and extremely affordable making an easy and quick spot for a day out in Sydney.
Love,
