Siem Reap Cafe Search
In this post I will share with you restaurants and cafes that offer gluten free and vegan alternative cafes that are helpful to know for when going out for breakfast and lunch in Cambodia.

Close by to my hostel was another hostel- Babel which also offered food, including local Khmer dishes. It’s such a calming and nice atmosphere with a mini eco shop next to the restaurant that’s also fun to explore. I tried the Amok fish curry which was delivered in a banana leaf bowl and also got a side of their beautifully coloured summer rolls which gave me just the right balance of warmth and freshness I needed in a meal.
Brother Bong was another Cafe that used Feel Good Coffee, and that also offered many gluten free and vegan alternative breakfast and lunches. There is a lot to choose from but would recommend getting their Eggs Benedict if never tried as it hit the spot perfectly for a healthy and filling start to the day.
Loved, loved, loved their salad bowl options and their sunshine shakes. With a cute and quirky environment it makes it the perfect place to get some work done or write in your journal (especially with their gluten free muffins and organic dirty chias!) I have to say their food might have been my favourite but didn’t have time to try out more from their menu.
By far the best ice cream I have ever had and I really didn’t expect to say that in Cambodia! On the corner of Pub Street the little shop had so many unusual flavours of ice cream to choose from, such as; chilli chocolate and dragonfruit, as well as coffees and hot chocolate- so their is something for everyone!

One of the best cafe for local Cambodia food with a sophisticated twist. I would highly recommend their green mango and catfish salad and their summer rolls for a refreshing lunch all for $5, making it not only great quality but also great pricing as well.

Another great Cambodian cafe which I would highly recommend getting Khmer curry from and their fresh juices. The menu was so varied that there is something for everyone and the atmosphere is relaxed, with accommodating waitresses who make the experience so luxury.
If you want a huge fresh salad or a burger- Source Cafe is the place to go. With so much option you can’t go wrong and their food will leave you wanting more. Especially their sweet potato fries and chilli mayo!

Although this is the only chain brand I have put on this list it had to be put down as their matcha lattes are incredible and one of the best I have had. They don’t have any gluten free or vegan food or cakes but just going in their for the peaceful atmosphere and their coffees seems worth it, especially if you need to get some work done.
