Inside My Makeup Bag
In this week's post, I wanted to share with you products from the makeup bag that I wear for work and school daily. These products are typically items that I have discovered through friends and the media, and I haven't been able to use anything else since. I don't usually wear too much face makeup, but I love creating interesting looks with eyeliner and colourful eyeshadows, therefore all the products I am sharing are quite natural and subtle.
Starting with my makeup bag; I got this Bobbie Brown bag as a gift this year, and find that it's the perfect size to fit all my skincare and makeup when travelling around.
After washing my face I prime my face with a priming moisturiser to allow my makeup products to sit better, and for longer. If you are missing that 'summer glow' I would recommend the Glossier Futuredew moisturiser as it helps your skin look well-moisturised, even in the winter months.
Next, I like to apply a small amount of BB cream, as it's a lot more subtle and lighter than foundation.
Bronzer brings my winter skin back from the dead! The Benefit Hoola bronzer gives the perfect shade for a tanned, fresh face, as well as being the perfect size for travelling with (as it also comes with a mini brush).
This is by far my favourite liquid blush out there! I wear the shade 'Beam' and find that the pigment lasts all day and the application allows for a really natural blush on the cheeks.
I have quite thick eyebrows so eyebrow gel is necessary to tame them. There are lots of types of eyebrow gels out there, personally, I use to have the Hema tinted eyebrow gel, however, the brand has been discontinued and therefore now use Mac's clear eyebrow gel. Although I prefer tinted eyebrow gel, I haven't been able to find one that is subtle enough for my eyebrows so Mac's eyebrow gel is the next best thing.
This is the BEST eyeliner out there! I was given this eyeliner for my birthday a couple years ago, and have been using it ever since. It's long-lasting, waterproof and the felt pen allows for accuracy when lining your eyes. If you love doing indicate designs, or want a quick, messy-free makeup look- this is the eyeliner for you.
This Too Faced mascara really does speak for itself. The wand design and mascara product allow the extension of the eyelashes to the extreme whilst still remaining natural and chic.
This is a powerful highlighter and you definitely don't need too much to become a glowing goddess. If you want a natural but strong glow BECCA's champaign highlighter should be next on the list.
Finally, I finish off my look with my favourite lip balms- my favourite being the Coconut Dotbalm. It's super moisturising, smells amazing and is long-lasting, not much else you can be looking for in a lip balm!
Love, Aria
XO
