Must-see Exhibitions!
Over the summer I've made it my mission to go to as many exhibitions open as possible, each with different subjects and artistic choices. In this post, I want to share with you 4 exhibitions in London I've seen and my honest reviews about each.
1. Epic Iran
This was a great exhibition, especially for me as Iran is where my family originates from but also it has so much great information about the country and its dynasty. The only thing I found disappointing about the exhibition though was how short it was. It didn't show nearly enough of it's modern history and art- it would be great to see a vaster amount of Iranian work, for example, fashion and architecture.
2. Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser

This was a great interactive experience with so much more detail than you could ever belive Alice in Wonderland could have. From the creation, to the movies produced, to the Tim Burton costume choices, to the modern influence it has had. The exhibition was timed perfectly and ended with an amazing installation, sending you out on a BANG!
3. Van Goth Alive

Like nothing I've seen before Van Goth Alive was an instillation of painting from the beginning of his career to the tragic end, with extracts from his diary and a great sound track you were imersed into Van Goth's life through his colours and stories. Although the instillation was long enough there wasn't much after the performance which left me slightly disappointed. On the way out there was a great room filled with sunflowers which was beautiful and unexpected, I just wish there was more rooms like that!
4. Royal Style in Making

The exhibition explores the royal families designers throughout the years, showing sketches and garments worn by the Queen, Princess Dianna and Princess Marget. If you like the Crown- you may even recognise a few outfits which were recreated. It's was beautifully put together and it's a must visit for anyone considering going into fashion!
