How to be 'that' girl!

The 'that' girl trend has become a popular lifestyle all over social media. It is about romanising the little things in life and being the best version of yourself you can. In this post I want to share with you the steps I have picked up from the multiple videos I have seen. These tips are meant to be realistic and achievable, unlike many tiktoks which sometimes can it feel impossible. 




1. Start your morning strong!

You don't need to wake up extremely early to achieve the 'that' girl morning routine but making the most of your morning is what it's all about. Make a list of things that you must do each morning and make the most of the time you have to get ready for the day.

2. Move your body 

Workouts are so important for both one's mental and physical health. Yoga, walking or at-home youtube workouts are examples of how you can move your body easily without having to spend money for a gym. 

3. Journaling and Manifesting 

Another way of looking after your mental health is meditating, journaling and manifesting. There are so many ways to reconnect with yourself-  these are the most popular ways, however, there are thousands of options out there. 

4. Clean eating 

Clean eating isn't just eating health but being intuitive and mindful with your relationship towards food. Spend time on the process and make the food that brings the most joy to you!

5. Work/ planning 

Motivation is key to living a 'that' girl lifestyle, getting work done and continuing achieving your goals. Planning will give you the time and motivation to get your homework or coursework done without the stress.  

6. Treating yourself

Treating yourself is vital, making time for the small thing to fully living a more romanised lifestyle. For example, go for a baths, start a new book or get a new face mask. 

7. Care and gratitude 

From your breakfast to your skin care- everything matters and should be done with care rather than seen as a chore. By living for the moment you are romanising your everyday life which means that everyday will be different and more exciting!

8. Clean and organised 

'That' girl is organised and ready for action- the only way to achieve this is to overcome the smaller things. Having a clean room will help motivate and prepare you for the day. Start by making your bed, sort through your wardrobe, reorganise your products- it will make a huge difference to your mindset!
