Sick Girl Aesthetic
I hate being ill but it's the only opportunity where you are able to sit around doing nothing without any obligations. That is why during this time I try to catch up with anything that I have been able to do in my busy schedule. In this week's post, I wanted to give some ideas to anyone who may be bored and need something to do.
1. Binge-watch a trilogy
There are many shows that I haven't been able to watch or finish due to a busy life. This is the perfect time to watch any movies- at the moment I am watching the two Kill Bill movies which I have always wanted to watch.
2. Binge-watch a TV series
I love watching tv shows but don't usually have time to fully engage in them. This is why I saved a special time to watch the new season of White Lotus which was perfect before my trip to Italy
3. Bake a cake
It's Easter time so there is nothing more perfect than baking a cake for springtime; maybe a carrot cake or hot cross buns?
4. Treat yourself to some noodle soup
Either cooking some from scratch or delivering some pho, but soup does mend the soul!
5. Make time for a mani/ pedicure
When is the last time you got your nails done? Why not pamper your fingers and toes with some shaping and colour!
6. Run a bath
Nothing is better than running yourself a nice bubble bath when you are feeling under the weather- the water will heat you back up to feeling better
7. Spring Clean
If you are feeling better, you could use your time wisely and get rid of a few items. I would recommend making some extra cash by putting your clothes up on Vinted or Depop.
8. Read a book
If you are bored of the movies, switch to getting that reading list ticked off and start on one of the books you have been wanting to read.
9. Pamper yourself
Wash your hair, do a face mask, shave your legs. Anything that you didn't have time to do before, now you can!
10. Online shopping
Nothing helps you feel better than a little retail therapy.
Feel better soon!
Love, Aria
