The Best Things I Have Ever Bought...
Firstly I would like to apologise for not posting last week, I had exams and thought it would be best to focus last week on my studies and come back this week with an extra special post this week. On one of my walks, I listened to podcast by Nayna Florence, 'the best things I have ever bought' and it inspired me to create my own list of things I can't live without. I hope this post helps you to look into items you love and maybe even invest in some of my 'life-changing' products!
1. 6 Minute journal
This was a recent purchase to help me succeed in my New Years Resolution- journaling everyday. Although it's only been a short while I have seen such a difference in my mood and appreciation for the smallest things. You can find the journal on amazon for £20- this can be pricey for some but definitely a good investment.
2. Daily Diary
As well as a journal, I couldn't have lived without my daily planner which allows me to get ready for every upcoming week. There are so many sections within my diary; one part focuses on each month and the week, and there are also sections for goals and notes which keeps me on top of things I want to achieve throughout the year.
3. Air fryer
I know that in recent months the air fryer has become a really trendy kitchen gadget, however, it's so worth the hype. I use my Air Fry everyday and would highly recommend to anyone, especially anyone at university.
4. Uggs
I got some Uggs for Christmas and have lived in them ever since! They are the best part of shoes to wear during the cold weather and are so comfortable for dog walks.
5. Beanies Coffee
I was never a huge fan of coffee, until I tried the Beanie's flavoured coffee, especially the Pumkin Spice. If you want a coffee that it's too sugary but still have the flavour- this is a brand you must try.
6. Wellteen Vitamins
I started taking vitamins during my second year of GCSES and they helped me dramatically. The Wellteens are perfect for anyone who is going to school and lives a busy life- they provide all the minerals and vitamins needed to help you throughout the day. Now my morning routine must start with my vitamins!
7. Macbook Air
I have had my Macbook for years and use it for everything, from my school work to working on my blog. If you don't already have one, think about investing your money into an Apple Macbook as they are reliable and will last for a long time.
8. Kindle
As someone with dyslexia I always found it difficult to read, however, the Kindle makes it so much easier. There are settings to change the text size and font so you can read at your own abilities, as well as having deals for books which save you money. I have begun loving reading off my Kindle and it's so easy to travel with.
9. Aviator jacket
This Christmas I received a All Saints Aviator jacket and have been living in it ever since- I have always needed a jacket that goes with everything and fits me perfectly, as well as, keeping me warm in the winter season.
10. Waterbottle
I can't go anywhere with out my Chilly's waterbottle. It's the perfect size and keeps water cold for 12 hours- perfect for a long day at work or to go to the gym with!
11. Dc Martins
These are my favourite pair of shoes, although they are pricey they are worth it- they can last over 10 years! The boots go with all my outfits and so versatile- perfect for a long day at school or for an evening out.
12. Travelling
Although I have spoken a lot about material objects, as Nayna has mentioned in her episode, I think the best things are often memories; so I would say my holidays are another thing which I will never take for granted again after Lockdown, and hope to do more traveling later this year!
13. Soulcycle
I have been obsessed with Soulcycle recently as they are intense but also so much fun! Each class is around £26, which is a lot for a student, however, I go once a month as a treat which makes them even more worth it! If you love cardio and the clubs- then you will love Soulcycle classes!
14. Spotify premium
This has been one of the best investments; Spotify premium has allowed me to spend a lot more time on the music and podcasts I want to listen to rather than wasting time on advertisements. If you use Spotify a lot- you need to change to a premium contract now!
15. Netflix
Obviously this is a given as almost everyone owns a Netflix account, however, it has truly changed my life. Netflix has lots of movies and tv shows to choose from; and I especially love it for my dorm movie nights.
Love, Aria
XO
