My Top Christmas Films

It's the week leading up to Christmas and it was only fitting to share with you another Christmas wishlist. In this week's post, I wanted to dedicate it to Christmas films, as everyone knows how much I love movie nights, especially at Christmas. These films are all family-friendly, I have chosen some are classics and some newer stories, yet all heartwarming the same (and comedies)!

1. Last Christmas

This is a brilliant film, with an incredible twist towards the end that no other Christmas film I have seen does. It's heartwarming and leaves you in a state of Christmas joy (after a few tears have been shed).

2. Love Actually

Obviously, Christmas cannot be Christmas without Love Actually, it's an absolute classic and if you haven't seen it- it is a must-watch this Christmas! With intertwined stories of Christmas, love and heartbreak you go through the story of how the holiday brings everyone together.

3. Holiday

This film is such a nice, cosy film to watch with a hot chocolate and a warm, fluffy blanket. The dynamic between the characters are so cute and funny which creates the perfect love story at Christmas time.

4. Love Hard

This is a newer addition to the christmas movie list, however, still shows all the qualities you get from one of the older films; its cute, funny and heart warming. All about finding your loved one through dating apps, the story follows a girl who has been catfished at Christmas.

5. Grinch

Unlike the others, this Christmas film is a remake of an old time classic- the Grinch. However, I truly enjoyed it (probably more than the old one) because of it's up-to-date humour, it is created for child, yet, very smartly adds somethings for the older ones too.

Enjoy,

 Love Aria xo
