Don't be a Grinch- Enjoy Christmas this Year!
The Christmas holidays can be the busiest time of the year for most, but it's important to enjoy this time and make the most of the Christmas magic. In this weeks post, I wanted to share with you my guide to having a relaxed Christmas to remember.
1. Make a Present Plan
Organising presents will save you so much time; make a list of everyone you need to buy for and tick off when completed. Adding price ranges also means that you can keep on top of all money spent during the holiday. Another time-saver is to spend a free evening wrapping and writing cards for family and friends will mean that everything can go under the tree before the '24th panic'.
2. Christmas in London
Make sure to enjoy the opportunities you have around your area, and specifically London. If you want some inspiration check out my previous post. Spending time with friends and family will make the holiday extra special and is sure to put you into the Christmas spirit.
3. Christmas Movie List
To get yourself ready for the holidays, planning movie nights is a good place to start. Spending the little breaks you have to save lots more when it comes to the holiday evenings with friends and family.
4. Prep Christmas recipes
Baking and cooking is a vital part of the Christmas holiday, however, it can be the most stressful part so it's important to spend time preparing for the day. A way I prepare is to spend every other day trying out new recipes to enjoy over the holiday and improving for Christmas dinner- this doesn't make any pressure, making cooking enjoyable again.
5. Use the Diary
It's an easy thing to overbook yourself during the holidays so it's important to make sure to save some space in your diary to relax or get that work done- you don't want to panic last second! Blacking out times or days that will give you time to reset for the New Year.
Love,
Aria
