The Ultimate Guide for Christmas
In this weeks post I wanted to help you get into the holiday spirit by preping you for all the Christams events on this month and December in London this year. If you are heading up to London this Christmas make sure to book one of these events as they are resonable prices and perfect to do with friends and family. Due to COVID a lot of these events now require bookings and tickets which you can find on their website so it's important to book in advance as they book quite quickly.
Here are 5 Christmas activities I hope to be doing this upcoming holiday;
1. Selfridges Christmas Fair
Selfridges is putting on a new Christmas Fair with food, drinks and some activities outside their Oxford Shop. It's free entry, tickets booked online and loads of food options to choose from, great for after a long day of Christmas shopping on Oxford Street.
2. Ice Skating at the Natural History Museum
From 12.50 (for students), for the last time, the Natural History Museum is putting on their annual ice skating ring where you can enjoy the sight of their amazing atmosphere while skating on the magical snow. This is a great activity to do with a loved one or catch up with a friend during the holiday.
3. Winter Wonderland
A classic christmas tradition right in the centre of Hyde Park. Winter Wonderland is a great way to start off the festive spirit. Due to COVID now tickets must be bought online, you can buy tickets from £20 or pre-order your rides and get your ticket for free- I recommend pre planning as the lines can get long so it saves lots of some time.
4. Kew Garden's Winter Trail
The Kew Garden's experience at Christmas is an unforgetable moment, every evening during the holiday Kew Gardens put on christmas a light display where you are able to walk along the gardens all wrapped up and drinking hot choco. Tickets cost £26, Kew members have added discounts.
5. Borough Market
The home of Briget Jones, the market halls of Southwark, Borough Market sells a varity of handmade goodies which makes it a perfect place for a bite to eat during the holidays but also a great place to find some last minute presents for love ones and colleages. Its free entry and no need to book, it's open 10am- 5pm every day, except Sunday (10am- 2pm).
Love, Aria
