How to be a social introvert.

After so many lockdowns it can be hard to get back into the swing of being social again. There feels like a pressure to go back to the way things once were and we are becoming so busy that we can't keep up. In this post, I wanted to share with you some social activities which are relaxed and fun, but also remain in your comfort zone.

Going out to a restaurant!

Something I believe we have all missed is having food made for us. This is a great way to catch up with old friends and enjoy some nice food. Why not go back to your old favourite or find a new fav?

Shopping

Shopping is definitely one of the easiest activities to do with a close friend. There are so many places around London and it's another great way to have a chat and catch up!

Museum

There are so many museums around London which are free entry so it's a great activity to do when on a budget. Especially if you or your friend are art or design students this is a great trip to make to help your portfolio.

Exhibition

At the moment there are some great exhibitions to visit, they can be a little more pricy than a general museum tour but there are some amazing subjects to dive into. If you need any help deciding I have a post on the best exhibitions in London at the moment.

Kew gardens

On a nice sunny day or during the autumn weather Kew Garden's is a great place to grab a coffee and walk around. There are so many great areas to explore and is the perfect place for a few pictures together.

Picnic

Making up a picnic and taking that to a park can be a cute date with friends, especially in the summer.

Sleepover

Having a sleepover can be a bit intimidating for people who are so used to spending so much time at home but it can be a great way to get out of your comfort zone. Or even book a nice hotel for the night with a friend and treat yourself to a pamper.

Soul cycle

Soul cycle is a high-intensity spin class- it's a great way to start the day and really makes you work out. It's a great experience to do with someone (and it doesn't mean that you have to be social because you are in a workout class).

Cinema

The cinema is another place where you don't have to be as social and can still enjoy the experience of being with a friend. There are so many movies out at the moment and it a more relaxed atmosphere than some other activities which means that you don't have to stress about the conversation.
