Tips for an auditions

Hello to you all – I hope you all had a great weekend!

As you all probably know I love films and really want to be an actress when I am older. I have been in all my schools productions but a lot of the time I get really nervous and mess up my audition. Here are some tips that my drama teacher gave to prepare me for an audition. Hope you enjoy!

It’s a Monday lunch time. Your drama teacher puts up an audition list for the summer production. You signed up. You’ve got an audition. Hurrah! Oh, and it’s tomorrow. Ahhhh panic. 

Here are some tips on how you can prepare yourself an audition:

• Do your research;
• Print your sides off to take with you;
• Familiarise yourself with the lines;
• Read the entire script (if it’s possible to get hold of) not just your scenes;
• Plan your outfit.
