Denmark
Hi Readers
I am now in Denmark with my family and my brothers' best friends family and it's been interesting so far.
We started the holiday by landing in a tiny airport... it was no joking tiny... tiny. It's called Århus airport and it is located in rural eastern Denmark and is an old converted barn. Like I said.... Tiny. The drive didn't take long and we were at my brothers friends Oscar's house in no time.
We stayed in the house for a while before setting off to a bakery in Mols Bjerge (Mols Mountains. Not literally by the way Denmark is as flat as a skimming stone) which sold amazing bread and the best cakes I have literally ever eaten. They sold these things called flødeboller (which translates as cream buns) which are basically marshmallow fluff covered in chocolate... they're good XD.
Yesterday we had a late breakfast and went out to go to the beach which is only 5 minutes away. We went crabbing and afterwards had a crab race to the ocean! From the beach we went straight to a strawberry field where we went a little stir crazy and literally came out with a bucketworth of strawberries which we have yet to eat.
Today we went to the small town near to where we are staying called Ebeltoft which we have found to be a small and quaint town, but not great for shopping, since most of the shops are really old. We also went to a glass museum where we saw lots of awesome art pieces and we got to see the people actually blowing the glass and making it... it sounds weird but trust me it's strangely fun...
